No-Knead Bread
You can mix up the flours, 2 c. white + 1 c wheat, or 1 c rye, etc.
- 12-18 hours
- 43-45 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 t yeast
- 1.5 t salt
- 1-1/2 c purified or spring water
Directions
- Proof yeast
- Mix all dry ingredients into bowl
- Mix wet ingredients into dry
- Transfer dough into a large greased bowl, cover with plastic and let rise for 12-18 hours.
- preheat oven to 450 F
- Transfer dough to preheated Dutch oven
- Bake with lid on Dutch oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove lid from Dutch oven and bake 12-15 more minutes
- Let cool on rack
