No-Knead Bread

You can mix up the flours, 2 c. white + 1 c wheat, or 1 c rye, etc.

  • 12-18 hours
  • 43-45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 t yeast
  • 1.5 t salt
  • 1-1/2 c purified or spring water

Directions

  1. Proof yeast
  2. Mix all dry ingredients into bowl
  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry
  4. Transfer dough into a large greased bowl, cover with plastic and let rise for 12-18 hours.
  5. preheat oven to 450 F
  6. Transfer dough to preheated Dutch oven
  7. Bake with lid on Dutch oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove lid from Dutch oven and bake 12-15 more minutes
  9. Let cool on rack
