Pumpkin Pie

Instead of roasting the pumpkin, you can steam it for about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 c roasted pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t ginger
  • 1/4 t nutmeg
  • 1/4 t cloves
  • 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 Grandma’s Pie Crust

Directions

  1. Roast pumpkin until toothpick pierces easily
  2. Thoroughly mix all ingredients in large bowl
  3. Pour mixture into pie crust
  4. Bake at 425 F, for 15 minutes
  5. Reduce temperature to 350 F, and bake 35-51 minutes, until tooth pick comes out clean.
