Crab Boil

Ingredients

  • 2x Shrimp Boil Spice Mix
  • 2 doz live hard shelled crabs
  • 0.25 lbs shrimp/person
  • 0.25 lbs Cajun Andouille sausage/person
  • 6 qt. water

Directions

  1. In a heavy 10- to 12- quart pot or kettle, combine the water and spice mix
  2. Boil for 10 minutes
  3. Cook potatoes about halfway done
  4. Add the crabs, and boil for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the crab
  5. Add shrimp and sausage to the boiling water after 10-15 minutes.
  6. Boil for 5 minutes and remove pot from heat.
  7. Add the corn, and cover the pot.
  8. Allow crabs to cool for 10-15 minutes while the pot steeps.
