Pizza Margherita
Instead of fresh tomatoes, you can substitute 1 12-14 oz. can of crushed tomatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 batch of Pizza Dough
- 1 lb. peeled and cored tomatoes, chopped
- 1 lb. mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 tsp. crumbled oregano
- other delicious traditional Italian herbs (Basil!!)
- 2 T olive oil
Directions
- Roll out dough directly on baking sheet( which should be of metal),
- Pinch up edges to form a rim.
- Mix tomato pulp, and herbs, then spread tomato pulp over dough.
- Place mozzarella slices over tomatoes
- Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, serve piping hot.
